We were very blessed to have a wonderful Christmas filled with family and friends. And it's such a blessing, as well, to know that my children are learning and understanding that the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the arrival of God to this earth.
We started out the celebration with everyone gathering at our house for Happy Birthday Jesus cake. On Christmas morning, the kids woke us up way too early to open presents. That was followed by a yummy nap on the couch while the kids watched their new movies. We spent the evening with the Fussell side of the family. Then on Saturday, we got to celebrate all over again with the Kirk side. It was truly a wonderful few days.
